“I am where I want to be”

Helping women break free from alcohol and navigate life after drinking to build a life they truly love.

Our Greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
— Thomas A Edison

Hi, I’m Mel, and this is how I found freedom from alcohol…

The Past

For a long time, I was stuck in the cycle of “rinse and repeat’ same patterns, same habits, destructive thoughts. The year I turned 50 was the year I said to myself “I want to make changes; I want to stop drinking alcohol”

I just knew at the time that I couldn’t just keep on doing the same things around alcohol.

  • Bad day – Wine

  • Socializing & Business Events – Too Much Wine

  • Hangover after Hangover – from Wine

  • Regrets, Guilt, Shame the next day - after drinking too much Wine.

  • Binge eating to get over too much wine.

  • My daily waiting for that acceptable time to start drinking wine again.

The constant thinking process of - how will I stop drinking wine.

  • How do I do life without wine.

  • How am I going to unwind/talk about the day with my husband.

  • I am going to be so boring.

  • How am I going to stop driving past my local liquor store.

Who am I now:

  • A ‘Powerful woman who doesn’t need an alcoholic drink to deal with life’ who is 100% accountable for her actions.

  • A woman who is free from the hold of Alcohol.

  • A woman who is present for her husband and children.

  • A woman who inspires, listen’s and has time to listen.

  • A woman who loves to travel & to get out in nature.

  • A woman who gets up early with energy from having an awesome night’s sleep.

  • A woman who has found her courage to be a beginner again.

  • A woman who is an Empowered AF 5 x Certified Coach
